MPCI Claims Benchmarking Programme
We provide a unique claims benchmarking programme that provides our clients with benchmark data on a wide range of key performance metrics. It compares the performance of individual companies against their peers - and tracks results over time. The programme highlights key areas with scope for improvements in profitability, identifying potential savings running into millions of pounds. The main audience for our results are claims directors / heads of claims but the programme also provides underwriters, actuaries and senior management with vital insights into profitability drivers and trends. The majority of the major insurance companies are members, both the direct insurers and broker companies. For example, for Private Car, 9 out of the top 12 are members, representing 60% of the market by GWP. The programme covers all aspects of the claims process for the major personal lines products; household claims and motor claims - there are over 160 metrics for motor alone. |
